Cedar Grove Piano Studio

It’s getting near the end of the year… and look at all the stickers mounting up. I’ve had to extend one of the keyboards… can you spot it?

Inquiring minds are wondering… there are 3 teams tied for top number of stickers earned so far!

All ready for another year of teaching! This years theme is Pianolympics. Should be fun! The studio is now full and I will not be taking names for a waiting list.

The tree as it stands now…..

Here is our tree as of April 1, 2024. For those who don’t know, each leaf represents a piece of music learned. Small leaves for beginner pieces, medium leaves for intermediate pieces and large leaves for more advanced pieces… one leaf per page learned. It’s filling up! Can’t wait to see how it looks by the recital. Oh, and the bugs represent pieces memorized.

Lots of leaves beginning to appear on our tree. These represent pieces completed. More advanced students get a leaf for each page of music completed. Lots of fun to watch it progress. The WOW seat is working well too with many students striving to gain a week on the swing! All this contributes to progress!

Here’s how our tree is doing! It’s beginning to leaf!

So… this happened this morning! Not fun! However, I’m grateful for doctors and pain killers. Advice from the doc…. Keep that arm moving and fingers moving…. Go ahead and play the piano. Well, I may not be doing anything too fancy until the pain subsides a bit, but lessons will continue as normal!

Some of you might remember the tree from a few years ago… it’s BACK! Looking forward to a fun year of watching this tree leaf out with leaves earned for pieces learned…. Wonder what the swing is for?!? Hmmm… gonna keep that one a secret!
