IT’S NOT TOO LATE TO CHOOSE FRENCH IMMERSION FOR GRADE 1!
Is your child starting Grade 1 next week at Romeo Dallaire, da Vinci, or another North Ajax school? Have you ever wondered whether French Immersion might be right for them?
We know that changing schools can feel like a BIG decision; especially when your child has spent Kindergarten making friends, learning routines and becoming comfortable in their school. ❤️ But Grade 1 is also an incredible opportunity to make the switch.
At Michaëlle Jean Public School, Grade 1 students begin learning French and English together and no, parents do NOT need to speak French at home! Our students come from families representing the incredible diversity of North Ajax, with many different languages spoken at home.
MJPS is a small, welcoming DDSB French Immersion school right here in North Ajax, with engaged families, caring teachers, strong academics and SO many opportunities for kids to get involved. 🏀⚽💃📚 Starting somewhere new doesn’t mean starting alone. Every Grade 1 student at MJPS is beginning their French Immersion journey together. They’ll learn the language together, make new friendships and quickly become part of our Jaguar community. 🐆
