🍎 Job Posting: Early Childhood Educator (Level 2) 🧸
We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and certified Early Childhood Educator (ECE) Level 2 to join our playschool team! This is a rewarding opportunity to nurture and guide young children in a stimulating and supportive learning environment.
We run at a ratio of 1:12 as per our licensing therefore depending on enrollment numbers the position may be half day (9:00am-12:00pm), or full day (9:00am-3:30pm) with classes in the morning and afternoon.

Hours:
Part-time, 6-16 hours/ week. dependent on student enrollment numbers and program needs.
The program runs on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Future Potential:
Possibility of a permanent position for the right candidate based on performance and program expansion.

📚 Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement age-appropriate, engaging, and educational programming based on the ECE curriculum guidelines.
Provide a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment where children can learn and grow.
Observe and assess children's progress, documenting developmental milestones.
Build positive and open communication channels with parents/guardians regarding their child's development and playschool activities.
Collaborate effectively with co-worker(s) and the Playschool Board Members.
Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations and safety standards.
✅ Qualifications
Certification: Must possess a valid Early Childhood Education (ECE) Level 2 Certification (or equivalent/higher) recognized by the Government of Alberta.
Experience: Previous experience working with children aged [Specify age group, e.g., 4-5 years] in a licensed playschool or daycare setting is highly desirable.
Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to be energetic, patient, and creative.
Requirements: Must successfully pass a Criminal Record Check and provide a current Vulnerable Sector Check. Current First Aid and CPR certification is an asset.
