Join us in celebrating an extraordinary achievement for our former student, Blayne Bedard! Down at Cheyenne Frontier Days in Wyoming, Blayne put together two masterful rides to claim the Women’s Ranch Bronc Championship (WRBC) World Title! This historic win caps off an unbelievable "Triple Crown" sweep for Blayne, who also earned both the WRBC Canadian Season Championship and the WRBC Canadian Finals Championship this year.

Blayne’s journey to the top of the world stage is a story of pure grit, focus, and mental toughness. After facing a tough buck-off at the finals in Cheyenne last year, she spent the past season focusing heavily on her mental game. That dedication paid off in the ultimate redemption story. On Saturday, she kicked off her championship run with a 70-point ride aboard Quiet Prairie—the exact same horse that bucked her off the year before! She followed that up on Sunday with a round-winning 75-point ride aboard Bugatti, finishing with a commanding 145 points on two head to secure the gold buckle.

Blayne’s dedication shines just as brightly in her studies as it does in the rodeo arena. The daughter of a former bull rider, she started her rodeo path in steer riding before transitioning to broncs four years ago. After graduating as Valedictorian of Acme School in 2023, she went on to Lakeland College in Vermilion, where she earned her Animal Health Technology Diploma.

Reflecting on her mindset going into the finals, Blayne shared, "Just take a horse for a horse, no matter where you are. It’s just you and that horse – make that ride, ride what they give you." We are pumped to be offering our fifth annual co-ed Rustlers x Camp 3D Basketball Summer Camp! We are excited to be back in the new Acme School gym and spend another few days together this summer making great memories, building confidence, and becoming better basketball players.

Over the past five years, we've watched something pretty special grow. Through camps, clinics, scrimmages, and countless hours in the gym, we've built a community that goes far beyond basketball. Kids who first came through camp as nervous young players are now returning as fifth-year leaders, pouring into the younger athletes around them. It's exactly what we hope for as coaches.

Seeing former campers and college athletes come back to invest in the next generation reminds us that we're building something exciting, sustainable, and strong.

Our goal has always been to develop durable athletes—not just basketball players. We want kids who compete hard, lead well, handle adversity, and leave camp more confident than when they arrived.

This year's coaching staff is an all-star lineup of coaches who care deeply about our communities and our athletes. Long after camp ends, players continue reaching out for advice, sharing milestones, and leaning on these coaches. Those relationships matter, and they help shape the character and confidence we see growing in our athletes year after year.
