What is adventure through art----
Adventure Through Art offers a variety of classes for all levels of artists regardless of skill level. Each student is given the opportunity to choose their stream focus from Elements of Art, Color and Play, or Jewelry Concepts and Design. All classes are available in person or over skype (skype for adults only). Each stream provides foundational courses that the artist and teacher build upon. This allows each student to find developmental strategies on how to strengthen their skills and personal forms of expression. Students will learn basic vocabulary, how to train their eye, art theory, developing perspective, balance, hand control, color theory and design. Supplies-
Note for all students. It is highly recommended that each student purchases their own materials. This will help the student become familiar with the medium they are using. Purchasing your own art supplies will also allow students to practice and experiment at home. Depending on the stream and class the supplies will range from $20 and up. The supplies for each class will usually be used throughout all the classes unless you are in the color theory or jewelry classes. The color theory and jewelry classes will provide different opportunities to work with other supplies and materials. We can discuss your materials and vision upon entering into the class to adjust to your needs and budget. Students that do not wish to purchase their own materials may use mine for a flat fee. This may be ideal for someone who is taking one class or experimenting and unsure what they want to invest in.
