Living with epilepsy can bring unique challenges to everyday routines, but having the right support and a plan in place can make things feel a little easier.

From educating the people around you about seizure first aid to asking for accommodations and identifying someone you trust, small steps can help create a safer and more supportive environment.

Remember, you don’t have to share more than you’re comfortable with. Your needs matter, and support is available. 💜

Supporting someone with epilepsy can start with something simple: understanding. 💜

Learn about epilepsy, listen to what they need, be patient, and help create a safe and supportive environment. Everyone’s experience with epilepsy is different, so asking how you can help can make a meaningful difference.

Small acts of understanding can go a long way. 💜 We have monthly online support groups open to anyone affected by epilepsy and living within BC. Visit esebc.ca for more information.
