Sandy Hill Elementary PAC Welcome Families! Follow along for updates on events and volunteer needs throughout the year!

Woohoo! Thursday August 31st - Class Lists will be posted at the front of the school by 5:00pm!

Today is the last day of school for Sandy Hill. It is also my last day as your PAC VP and your Social Media Liaison. It has been a pleasure Sandy Hill and I want to thank each PAC executive, the parent volunteers and the staff for making it such a great year. We wanted to bring back a sense of community to Sandy Hill and I believe we were successful. I look forward to seeing some of you at Chief Dan George. All the best everyone. Keri

The grade 5 leaving ceremony was a blast. Thanks to all the volunteers that made this possible. And thank you to your PAC executive team for an amazing year. Our job here is done and we pass the baton to an all new PAC executive team next year!!

Last week of school is finally here!!

Tuesday is the Gr 5 leaving ceremony. Doors open at 12:30 and events start at 1. We have 85 Gr 5’s, so we are asking to keep a limit of guests to 2 per child, so that everyone has room to sit, including the Gr 5 students. They will also get their yearbooks on Tuesday.

Thursday is the Gr 4’s and 5’s are going to Cultas Lake waterslides for their end of the year event. Volunteers are going on the buses with the kids.

Thursday is the last day of school. Be prepared to bring home school supplies, so send a bag to school for those items to come home. And if you’re wanting to connect with friends over the summer, remember to exchange phone numbers for those fun summer play days!!

Hello everyone.

It is the final push to the end of the year, and we have one final request. The grade 5 leaving ceremony is coming up on Tuesday, June 27th. We need help with setting up the chairs and decorations. Could you please make this an easy job by contributing your time?

It would be amazing if you could click the link below and sign up for any of the roles described. That includes chair set-up, decorations in the gym, or the photo wall at 10 am on Tuesday, June 27th.

Day 5 and the end of Staff Appreciation week at Sandy Hill. Today is the gift card on a string game. Whoever can answer the question gets to pull the string first and get a $5 gift card.

Friday is wacky hair day!!

Day 4 of staff appreciation is a Coffee and Tea bar with some seriously sweet treats!! Just another way to ESPRESSO our appreciation for ALL the staff at Sandyhill! Happy Staff appreciation week!!

Sandy Hill sports day today starts at 9am. Remember to dress your child in their assigned coloured shirts.
