Grade four and five were treated to a visit from our Mayor, the honourable Ross Siemens. He was able to share his experience being leader of our city and answer questions from our students. Thank you for coming!

Our school is always busy with a variety of creatures. Lately, we've had some new bunnies in the office in addition to our regular two; Piper and Poppy. We also hatched a batch of baby quail which was so fun. And we can't forget Milo; the fourplex cat who is very much a part of us but not pictures!

We had the honour of celebrating all of our athletes this past Thursday at our annual sports banquet. Well done everyone and a HUGE thank you to all of our coaches and volunteers!

Our Kindy's took a trip to the EcoDairy last week and got to visit all the farm animals. They had so much fun learning about all the jobs of the animals and the farm workers.

Happy Mother’s Day to all of our amazing, wonderful mamas, aunty’s, grandmas and second mamas. We pray you were WELL honoured and celebrated today!

Part of our spring market this year will include a clothing swap! Time to clean out your closets and send in your gently used baby, kids, men’s and women’s clothing and drop it off at the school this coming Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. We will organize it and have it ready for Thursday evening. Pop in to the swap and shop for free for what you need to top up your spring and summer wardrobes!

LifeSpring is hosting a conference tomorrow and traffic flow for drop off and pick up will be slightly different. Please see map below and check your email for details!! This is just for Tuesday May 5th! Thank you for your help and cooperation. There will be parking attendants out there to help guide us. Four plex drop off and pick up is not affected.

Reminder!! Tomorrow; Monday May 4th is a half day for students and pick up is at 12:00. Wear your non uniform and bring coins to support Christopher and his sister in Honduras!
