Abbotsford Christian School

Abbotsford Christian School Abbotsford Christian School is an innovative thought leader in pre-K-12 Christian education.

We value whole-child, real-world learning that integrates a Christian worldview in all we do. ACS is an innovative thought leader in Christian education that blends a unique custom-fit approach with project-based learning. We integrate a Christian worldview to develop each child as a whole person, nurturing their unique potential from the inside out. We operate within an enriching community based on the belief that it takes a village to raise a child. We enter into a relationship with each parent to foster within the child a strong sense of identity and faith in God that aims to last a lifetime. We differentiate ourselves by the faculty we attract and retain: those who take an entrepreneurial approach to academics; those who are not only scholarly, but understand the world; those with a high degree of emotional intelligence and courage to challenge convention to better the learning environment for each child. Not only are we preparing our graduates to seize life’s challenges and opportunities after ACS, but inspiring them with the courage and conviction to shape the world in which they live as the next generation of Christian leaders.

Kindergarten Discovery Days are off to a wonderful start! This fall, our Kindergarten classes stepped into the role of Apple Detectives, using curiosity and hands-on exploration to discover more about the world around them. 🍎🔍

We are grateful for the generosity of Lepp Farm Market, who donated the apples for our Apple Detectives exploration! Their support gave our students the opportunity to learn with real, local produce and experience the wonder of apples in a whole new way.

It’s not too late to register for preschool!
Spaces are still available in the Tuesday/Thursday morning three-year-old class. Students must be three by December 31, 2026 and the first day of class will be January 5th.

Our preschool offers a warm, nurturing, and play-based environment where children are encouraged to explore, create, and grow.

Our hope on this National Day for Truth and Reconciliation is that we would all take time to connect with, learn from, and learn about our Indigenous neighbours as we journey alongside each other towards truth and reconciliation. As a school, our staff and students engaged in Indigenous stories and personal reflection as part of Orange Shirt Day.

Can you make a boat out of only cardboard and duct tape? Last week the grade 8 students put this to the test! First, they took on building a cardboard boat that could float, hold the weight of a person, and be able to steer and race in water by paddling. Next was the real test! Stay tuned to see what happened at the lake!
