We went to Victoria for a 3-day trip with . 🏔️🌊 We explored various sites including Parliament building, Cathedral Grove, Coombs Market, Fisherman’s wharf, Downtown Victoria, Mile Zero, Chinatown, Butchart Gardens, Rathrevor Beach Provincial Park to name some! 🥰 💚

Construction notice! ⚠️
WHEN: Starting March 21, 2025, to March 31, 2025
WHERE: Gillis Ave., in front of Lá:lem te Baker
WHAT: The construction team for the student housing project requires Gillis Ave to be shut down for the time period above to allow for underground connections to Lá:lem te Baker. The work includes connecting power, and Telus to the new building. The work will be disruptive to occupants of Lá:lem te Baker, and vibrations could carry to other buildings in the vicinity. The most disruptive work will be the excavation of the road and sidewalks, and the compaction testing. The work will take place from Monday, March 24 to Friday, March 28; however, the vehicle access and alternate pedestrian route will be in place from Saturday, March 21 to Sunday, March 30.

We’re excited to invite you to an epic event during Alumni Weekend this year! Get ready for a thrilling reunion tournament where current and former Baker students will battle it out for ultimate bragging rights on which generation of housing students reigns supreme. 💚
Event Details:
• Date: April 5th, 1-4pm 📆
• Location: UFV South Gym📍
• Games: Best-of-3 tournament featuring Volleyball, Futsal (indoor soccer), and Dodgeball 🔥
Other Fun: Themed t-shirt jerseys will be provided to athletes, free snacks and drink, multiple prize and gift card draws/giveaways for audience members - fans are encouraged to come and cheer on their team!
