CALVIN MUSIC ACADEMY FUNDRAISER
CONCERT
On Friday, June 12th, 2026 at 7:30pm the Calvin
Coffeehouse will be sponsoring the Calvin Music
Academy in a special fundraising concert. The event will
feature some of the students and teachers of
the CMA including one of the ukulele classes, one of the
violin classes, and the Ring Dingers (handbell choir).
Other groups, including Jo Blaak & Friends (fiddle music) and Gin & Tall Tales (folk, jazz and latin band), will also be performing.

Admission is free and free refreshments will be served at the intermission. Donations will be gratefully accepted in support of the various music programs of the Calvin Music Academy.

We encourage all to come out and bring friends to enjoy a wide variety of music and musicians, and to support Calvin Church's music school.

We’re hiring for two 8-week full-time positions from June 7 – July 31, 2026., funded in part through the Canada Summer Jobs Program. Join our team this summer and help bring the 39th Annual Mission Folk Music Festival to life through hands-on experience in events, arts, and community engagement.

📍 Mission, BC (some remote work + on-site required)
⏰ 35 hours/week (includes evenings, weekends, rotating schedule)

To be eligible, applicants must be 15–30 years old at the start of employment, legally able to work in Canada, and available for the full term.
