We feel it is important to publicly respond to recent allegations of abuse at our Centre.

The allegations that were made are false. We unequivocally deny any allegations of abuse at our Centre.

What is true, is that the same false claims were made to Community Care Facilities Licensing. An investigation was completed, and the allegations were found to be unsubstantiated. Upon the Licensing Officer’s recommendation, our guidance policy was immediately revised to better consider the various developmental needs of children and allow for flexible guidance in relation to non-napping children. Nothing further was required.

Social media is a powerful tool that should be used responsibly, and it was disappointing to see comments attacking the integrity of our Staff and Centre without full knowledge of the situation.

We fully recognize the trust our parents place in us as we care for their children. We thank our current and past families and our colleagues in the childcare field who have reached out and provided support and empathy.

We remain committed to maintaining the highest possible standards of care in our Centres. The Staff at Little Leaders Childcare continue to conduct themselves in the utmost professional manner as they provide best practices in all areas of guidance policies.

Welcome to Little Leaders Childcare Centre (LLCC). We provide a rich learning environment where your child will explore, interact, and learn through the many facets of play. A wide range of learning activities will stimulate mental development, social skills, large and small motor development, creative and emotional skills. Children are regularly exposed to letters, numbers, colours, shapes, new vocabulary and name recognition. We provide a warm and inviting atmosphere that allows your child to develop at their own pace.

Each child will be treated as a special individual and will be taught to respect and be kind to others. Our belief is that children need to have a positive self-image. We develop that image through a variety of age appropriate play and learning materials that promote an "I can do it" attitude.

At LLCC we provide guidelines, model acceptable behaviour and use positive reinforcement to encourage each child to be independent and confident. Toys, activities and materials are routinely changed to adapt to the children's social, emotional and cognitive needs and abilities as they develop and grow.
