🌿🐨 What a wonderful first week of a new school year at Little Koala Montessori Academy Abbotsford! 🐨🌿

The first week is always filled with new beginnings, new friendships, new routines, and lots of little discoveries.

Our classrooms have been buzzing with happy energy as children settled into their Montessori environments, explored new activities, reconnected with friends, and built confidence in their daily routines. ✨

From busy little hands working with Montessori materials to joyful conversations, creative activities, outdoor play, and plenty of smiles — it has been such a beautiful start to the year! 🌱

Montessori in Action: Learning Through Helping

One of the beautiful principles of Montessori education is “Help me to do it myself.” 💛

In these sweet moments, a child is learning to care for and help a younger friend by assisting with putting on his shoes. What may look like a simple everyday task is actually a meaningful learning experience.

✨ Developing independence
✨ Practicing practical life skills
✨ Building concentration and coordination
✨ Learning patience and empathy
✨ Developing confidence through helping others
