Our elders, and staff are looking forward to celebrating our Indigenous Graduates of 2026! We will be having an open house for your family and friends on June 9, 10, 11th from 1130 to 130

Her Indigenous name is Sel ya:al. Her full English name is Nancy Patricia Charlie. But most people throughout Stó:lō communities know her simply as Auntie Pat. For decades, Auntie Pat has served as one of the most respected matriarchs in the Stó:lō world — grounding families, shaping community wellness, revitalizing cultural practice, and leading with a rare combination of humility, discipline, and unwavering service.

UFV will pay tribute to her contributions by granting her an honorary degree at our morning convocation ceremony on Tues, June 9.

🏆 Congratulations to former UFV president Dr. Joanne MacLean on receiving the Austin-Matthews Award from U SPORTS!
