If you’re new here, welcome! I’m the owner and educator behind Jr. Adventures Childcare, and someone who genuinely loves helping children build confidence, independence, and a love for learning.
I hold my Early Childhood Education (ECE) diploma and have also completed studies in Child & Youth Care and Family degree further strengthening my understanding of child development and family support. I have over 8 years of experience working with children, including experience as a Behaviour Interventionist supporting children with autism, developmental disabilities, behavioural challenges, and diverse learning needs. Working with children in both childcare and behavioural settings has given me a strong understanding of child development and the importance of meeting each child where they are.
My passion has always been helping children grow—not just academically, but socially, emotionally, and independently. Through play-based and Montessori-inspired learning, I focus on building confidence, encouraging curiosity, supporting emotional regulation, and creating meaningful learning experiences that help prepare children for kindergarten and beyond.
I believe some of the most important skills children learn are not only letters and numbers, but also how to build friendships, communicate their needs, navigate big emotions, solve problems, and develop confidence in themselves.
As a fully licensed childcare provider, my goal is simple: to create a safe, nurturing, and loving environment where children feel valued, supported, and excited to learn every day. I believe children learn best when they feel secure, encouraged, and truly cared for.
