Rocket Star at UFV School of Business

UFV School of Business faculty member Dr. Jelena Brcic has officially entered rocket star status. She has been invited by NASA to attend the launch of the SpaceX Crew-13 mission, scheduled to launch on October 1, 2026, targeting an International Space Station (ISS) flight.

Dr. Brcic research specializing in human adaptability under extreme isolation will be conducted on this mission. Her team's research on Crew-13 will evaluate:
• How astronauts manage high-stakes, long-duration confinement and stress.
• The role of positive emotions—such as gratitude, compassion, and awe—in maintaining individual mental well-being and overall crew cohesion.
• How finding meaningful purpose in their work builds psychological resilience.

At this time 25% of this class that has not completed the CATME team survey. You need to do this immediately. If you do not complete it by 5 pm today, you will not be assigned to a team a and you will fail the assignment.

You need to complete your CATME Survey by 5 pm today. Your Instructor will then make the teams based on the CATME results and circulated the results!

Next week - You are required to organize your first team meeting, video it in Brightspace and upload for grading. I will change all theses dates, they are wrong for our classes.
