We are actively confirming famlies to host in Surrey, Langley, Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Maple Ridge, Coquitlam, Duncan, Victoria, Nanaimo, Red Deer and Hamilton. Host families needed in Hamilton, Ontario!!
We are currently looking for families in Hamilton to host 2-3 Japanese students for 2 programs in August: August 1 – 10 and/or August 11 – 21. Students are aged 13 – 17. We also need families to host adult chaperones. If you are interested please contact Naomi at [email protected]

GPI is looking for teachers to work on ESL programs in March 2023. This is temporary work. We have multiple programs in various areas (Coquitlam, Surrey, Cloverdale, Delta, Maple Ridge, Abbotsford, Chilliwack). First group is March 2, with last group departing on March 30. Students are all Japanese, mainly ages 13 - 17 years old. If interested please send cover letter and resume to [email protected]. Only qualified applicants will be contacted. Clear criminal record check will be required if hired. Applicants must have own car as most locations are not easily accessible by transit.

Host families in Abbotsford needed to share a traditional family Christmas with Japanese students. Students will be here December 23 - 28. Prefer to place 2 students to each home. Host family needed January 8 - 28 in Richmond or Coquitlam/Port Moody to host 1 or 2 high school boys from Japan. If hosting 2 boys they need separate bedrooms. They also need good access to Skytrain or Canada Line to attend a language school in downtown Vancouver. Apply online

Short term programs are back! Host families needed in Abbotsford Dec 23 -28 (Christmas program) and Dec 28 - Jan 5. And in Langley Dec 28 - Jan 5.

We also need host families in Cloverdale, Langley, Abbotsford, Surrey, and Chilliwack for groups in February and March to early April.
