Come one, come all (and by "all" we mean anyone interested in pursuing a major or minor in History)!
AHS is proud and excited to reboot our popular What To Do With Your History Degree event. With the support of Alumni Relations, this year will feature panel speakers, a Q&A segment, and a social with free food and beverages. Come socialize, learn about careers in the field, and possibly eat one too many hors d'oeuvres. We look forward to seeing you there!

We’re looking for your help. The association of history students are planning on hosting a “what to do with your history degree” online panel. This event is for current history students to get ideas for their career path after graduation. If you are currently or have worked in a field where you have been able to use your history degree we would love to hear from you.

Today on National Truth and Reconciliation Day, take the time to educate yourself and think about those who have suffered. We encourage you to familiarize yourself with the land which you work and reside on and most importantly listen to the voices who need to be heard.

Registration opens up tomorrow, March 16 for the upcoming BC Studies Conference, from May 6-8, 2021. The conference will be held virtually. The cost is $25.

Random fact/ fun fact/ anything: Back in my glory days, I travelled to Halifax, Nova Scotia to compete for Team BC in the Junior Women's National Box Lacrosse Championship. I'm also a two-time provincial square-dance champion (I almost wish I was making that up.)
