The Ladybugs have been learning all about the contruction of buildings. Towers, castles, pirate ships, following patterns, building TALL, figuring out how to build safe up on step stools, and the cooperation and organization it takes to get it done. What happens if you run out of square tiles? Can you figure out what other tiles could make the same square shape? ( 2 triangles or 2 small rectangles)
And . . . . learning to deal with the disappointment and big feelings that happen when it comes crumbling down and finding the courage to try again. These are big lessons and learning opportunities for the Ladybugs. Safe to say, lesson learned.
