My summer TBR pile expanded once I applied for the chaplaincy role I’m now in. It’s a bit of a dense list, but so worth it. I’m about half way through - not sure if I’ll finish them all before my second to last semester of seminary begins at the end of August, but I’m trying! (Missing is John Swinton’s tome “Dementia” which I’ve since lent out.)

I just completed my first shift as a chaplain in a faith-based senior’s facility. I’m looking forward to walking alongside these beautiful men and women!

I had the privilege of sharing at my church’s women’s ministry this morning about adapting to change, and I got to share a bit about my mental health and neurodivergent journey as well. We often feel a lot of things when navigating change, such as: powerlessness, grief, anger, confusion, excitement, resistance, curiosity, sadness, anxiety, isolation, discouragement and more.
