Holy Cross Anglican School in San Pedro celebrated its 20th anniversary on Monday, September 14th, with a commemorative service.

Our “Where Are They Now?” series continues as we celebrate 20 years of Holy Cross and the students who have grown with us.

This week, we’re catching up with Israel Duque, Class of 2010. After Holy Cross, Israel continued his education and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Belize.

Today, he works as a Warehouse Manager at Castillo’s Hardware Co. Ltd. and credits Holy Cross with helping shape his confidence, discipline, respect, and perseverance.

Our "Where Are They Now?" series continues as we celebrate the people and stories that have been part of Holy Cross over the past 20 years 🧡

This week, we're catching up with Valdimir Campos, who attended Holy Cross from 2007 to 2013.

Valdimir's journey is one of perseverance. Even while spending time away from Belize for medical care, he remained committed to his education and went on to graduate with honors.

Today, Valdimir lives in San Pedro and manages Nayabaz Store. He looks back on his years at Holy Cross as an important foundation and encourages today's students to stay focused, work hard, and enjoy the journey along the way.

Welcome back to “Where Are They Now?” — where we spotlight past Holy Cross students and where life has taken them.

Meet Kendice , a 2012 Holy Cross graduate. Her journey has taken her from Holy Cross to Belize City, Canada, and Atlanta, where she earned her Juris Doctor of Law.

She describes Holy Cross as an important step in her educational journey and noted the value of giving students more career-focused exposure as they prepare for the future.

Kendice’s story is a reminder that a strong beginning can become part of a much bigger journey.

Gabriel's journey reflects a powerful transformation from a student who once disliked school to a motivated learner and successful leader. During his time at Holy Cross his perspective on education changed significantly, inspired by supportive teachers as well as impactful programs. He credits the school for shaping his mindset, discipline, and appreciation for education, which helped guide his future success. Today, Gabriel serves as a Senator and entrepreneur, carrying forward the lessons and values gained during his time at Holy Cross.
