Friends and Family
The Ministry of Sustainable Development has offered our founder, Monique Vernon, a space on the Belize delegation team to join them in Dubai this November to attend COP28.
I need to raise BZ$6,000 to cover my flight, lodging and food.
If you know what I'm all about, please help a sista out. I love my little Belize and appreciate the opportunity to help make it an even better country.
Thank you all so much for supporting, in advance.

Dear Placencia
We regret to inform you that due to the improper disposal of your recyclables at the current drop-off location, we will no longer be collecting your recyclables or oil as of today, August 8th, 2023.
Thank you, Dave Vernon, for allowing us to temporarily utilize your property for our recycling missions.
If you would like recycling to continue in Placencia, funds and assistance are needed from the community to get a new area set up to collect oil and recyclables. We need funds to pay someone to clean the property (cut and rake) twice a month and purchase two-three rolls of chain link fence and metal bars for the chainlink fence. We will also need a rotation of volunteers to oversee the recycling area and collect oil from restaurants.
If we cannot get help from the community, we will permanently close down this initiative.
Thank you for understanding. Have a great day!

Good Morning Placencia.
Yesterday we delivered over 100 5-gallon water bottles to folks in Bella Vista. We have over 200 left at our recycling drop-off center in Placencia. You are welcome to take as many as you like. We will discard them on Wednesday, August 9th, if no one takes them by then.

Good Morning Placencia and nearby residents
We have over 300 damaged Crystal 5-gallon water jugs at our drop-off location at North Beach in Placencia, and we invite the public to use (reuse, repurpose) and take as many as you like. Luis, our partner from Ecofriendly Solutions Ltd. will be taking them eventually, so don't miss your opportunity. Many folks use these for weights, anchors, plant holders, water bowls, etc., so if you or anyone you know would love to have some, please bring them over.
