Week two of our Yoga Unit!

Welcome to Coastal Education Center’s Candyland Theme Day! Creative costumes and a GIANT game of Candyland on the beautiful shaded basketball court. The students cheered each other on and learned yet another real world application for knowing their basic facts👨🏽‍🎓We would love to have you become a Friend of Coastal Education Center, we have students that need sponsorship, many on a waitlist that we help as much as we can through tutoring. We appreciate volunteers that share their knowledge and open up the world 🌍 of opportunities out there, partnerships to enrich our students educational experience, and help us on our journey to grow to provide opportunities for our local students.

Our Candyland Day was a great success- the costumes were so creative, our students are so supportive of each other as they cheered each other on during our giant game of Candyland on Victory Belize’s beautiful coveted court. We are so very fortunate to have such a beautiful and safe campus for the students! This wrapped up our month of “Making Friends and Inclusion”. We have three students that we continue to look for sponsors for, if you are interested or want to help out by sharing your expertise, life lessons, travel advice, we always look to create opportunities for all of our students so please message or call 611-4311.

Our September PE classes were filled with learning the foundations of movement. Students focused on frisbee skills linked to movement basics, body awareness and spatial awareness. We wrapped up our unit by creating and playing a 4 hole frisbee golf tournament! What talented athletes we have here at Coastal!
