The Belize Fund for a Sustainable Future, in conjunction with the Belize Coastal Zone Management Authority and Institute, recently visited a group of students from the Environmental Club at Orange Walk Technical High School to participate in an inspiring sustainability initiative. During the visit, students worked together to construct sustainable benches made from recycled plastic bottles, promoting environmental awareness, teamwork, and the importance of recycling in protecting our environment.

This meaningful activity provided students with a hands-on learning experience while encouraging creative and practical solutions for reducing plastic waste within our communities.

Special recognition goes to the group leaders, Oseidy Vidal and Lyra Flores, for their leadership, dedication, and commitment to environmental stewardship! 🧡🩵❤️

Academic excellence and school pride were on full display today at Orange Walk Technical High School as Education Week 2026 continued with the highly anticipated Second Form Math Olympiad.

Our Second Form students demonstrated exceptional focus, confidence, problem-solving skills, and determination throughout the competition. Their impressive performances showcased the dedication, preparation, and perseverance they have invested in their studies.
