Hopkins Bujitsu Kai

We are back (again).
Post Covid restrictions and with the Windschief reopened, we will be starting the Jujitsu classes again.
On Monday and Wednesday mornings from 10am until about 12pm ish on the deck at the Windschief.
The first class will be Monday 26th (September 2022), come down and burn off some of those lockdown calories !

We had a grading on Sunday, so I have some pictures to show the world :)

Congratulations to all who took part, now we start from the beginning again (when the restrictions are lifted of course .....)

It looks like another shut-down is coming our way, so Sunday 19th is going to be grading day.

Students are requested to be at the windschief for 9.30am.

If the SI releases us in 2 weeks we will re-start classes, watch this space.....

We have finally managed to get a micro grading sorted for the juniors.
Absolutely superb performances were on display by both students.
So here are a couple of photos of them trying to kill each other :)

It is rare that I get to slap my students around, but for the sake of some promotional videos they agreed !
I would like to say a big thank you to Pam and Ayana for being on the receiving end and to Amon for the video work / editing.

Ok people, I am planning on a grading for some unlucky students towards the end of this month / beginning of July.
So it will primarily syllabus materials for the next few weeks.
Work hard and be happy :)

WOO HOO, we are back !!!!

Starting Sunday (16th May) we will be re-starting the classes at the Windschief.
Sunday will be 10 to 12 (ish) and the Tuesday class will be in the afternoon from 4pm until about 6pm.
Beginners are always welcome and given that we haven't been training for over a year I think we will all be beginners again....

Due to the explosion in virus cases and the closure of our training venue in Hopkins, it has been decided to suspend Jujitsu classes until further notice.
With luck this won't be a multi-month shut-down, but watch this space for further posts / updates.

Anybody think it is about time I updated the Banner on this page ? Maybe a photo shoot is due when the full class re-assembles next week .....

On Sunday we had a make up grade for Ayana, to make up for the fact that the virus stuff up the timing for the few attempts to grade.
