on the 31 first we sighted a white tailed hawk at tapir mountain and on the first we saw a brown pelican flying over benque viejo.

It is a protected area within the Tiger Run Farms set aside by the owners of the farm for the protec Low Impact Research- Protect & Conservation.
Due to its diverse ecosystems the land plays a critical role in sustaining a healthy wildlife and bird population and maintains a balance between people and the environment. Its unique lowland broadleaf forest and its open grasslands creates a perfect habitat for several birds and raptors, including the Crested Caracara. The only place nesting and sited in the west of the country of Belize.
