Our PathLight Belize family is growing! 🇧🇿✨ We are excited to welcome a wonderful group of new team members who are stepping into key roles across our centers.

Rae joins us as the Director of Teacher Training, bringing deep experience as a former principal and Education Officer. Joining her are a new Teacher Training Officer in Orange Walk, three dedicated Student Mentors, and five Peace Corps Response Volunteers specializing in STEAM and social services!

We’re officially halfway to our goal! 20 of our 42 incoming freshmen have been matched with a sponsor, securing their tuition, books, and consistent Christian discipleship for high school.

However, 22 students still need a sponsor. Scholars like Aaiden, Adriana, and Cayden bring the grit and drive: they just need someone like you in their corner, investing in them and cheering them on.

Literacy Week continues across Belize as our Teacher Training Program (TTP) brings storytime to life in local primary school classrooms! 📚 Our TTP team is sparking joy and curiosity by guiding students to ask big questions, express their ideas, and connect books to their daily lives. These interactive sessions do more than build vocabulary—they give young learners the confidence to communicate. We were also delighted to have Sponsorship Plus mentors Nasir, Kairie, and Cynthia step into the classroom alongside our TTP trainers to share in the reading fun! 🌟
