The Ministry of Sustainable Development, Climate Change and Solid Waste Management (MSDCCSWM), through the Integrated Management of Production Landscapes to Deliver Multiple Global Environmental Benefits (GEF-6), and BTR1 & BTR2/NC5 Projects, implemented in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), invites qualified and interested firms/individual consultants to submit detailed proposals for the following consultancies:

Interested firms/individual consultants are required to obtain the complete Terms of Reference (TOR) by email, clearly stating the consultancy title.

Deadline for Submissions: October 9, 2026, at 10:00 AM.

UNDP Belize is proud to reaffirm our partnership with the Government of Belize and the Republic of Korea through a US$3.4 million investment in strengthening Belize’s National Statistical System.

Supported by the Republic of Korea through KOICA, this initiative is helping build the skills, technology, and systems needed to turn reliable data into better decisions; from understanding poverty and household conditions to informing social services, agriculture, and national development.

Together with the Government of Belize, KOICA, UNFPA, UNICEF, FAO and WFP, we are working to ensure that this investment creates lasting capacity and development results for Belize.

From words to action! Today, we came together for the tree-planting component of our One Million Trees Initiative, taking a small but meaningful step toward a greener and more resilient Belize. 🌎💚

Every tree planted represents our shared commitment to protecting our environment, strengthening our communities, and creating a healthier future for generations to come.

A heartfelt thank you to the Forest Department, Belmopan City Council, the United Nations, and Rotary Club for making this initiative possible and for bringing partners together to turn climate action into something we can see, grow, and nurture. 🌱

Yesterday's Climate Week Parade brought together NGOs, government agencies, community stakeholders, young people, and families with one shared message: climate action requires all of us. 🌎🌱

These photos capture more than a parade. They tell a story of connection, hope, and collective responsibility - from the smiles and colourful displays to the heartfelt embraces between people working toward a more resilient Belize.

Every conversation, every step, and every moment of solidarity reminded us that climate change affects our communities, livelihoods, and future. But when government, civil society, partners, and citizens stand together, meaningful change is possible.

UNDP Belize remains committed to supporting partnerships that protect our environment, strengthen communities, and ensure that no one is left behind.

Her participation is for Day 2: Orange Economy.
