Update from the Belize Forestry Herbarium Team: Work in the herbarium contiues. We recently got to the fascinating stages of finishing preparations for digitizing our Belize National Herbarium. In few weeks we gonna have 2 Herbarium specialist from USA, coming to assist us with checking that we finished all the stages correctly and ready to digitize our > 20,000 specimens herbarium. Thank you, all UB students, community volunteers, Caves Branch employeees, Forestry employees, and even everyone who leaves ENCOURAGING comments! Some plants have dry specimens already but missiles something, like a seed pod of this orchid so herbarium constantly grows.

Updates from Forestry Department Herbarium team. We are gonna through everything.. every book date even if its from 1948; damaged old specimens; sort and file according to the new idenifications. The work never ends- thank you volunteers!
