On Saturday December 6th, 3 members of the Academy competed at the Bahia Open 4 in Chetumal, Mexico these were the results:

Keshaun Parks : White Belt 13-15 Years-Gold🥇
Pablo Areana: White Belt 11-12, 13-14 - 2 Gold 🥇🥇
Ronald Hyde: Belize vs Mexico Quintet - Gold 🥇

It takes alot to step on the mats and compete and for that reason we would like to give a special shoutout to all of our athletes, you made us all proud at the Academy 🇧🇿🎭

The association became active within the last couple of weeks, however, its creation began many months ago. The Secretary of the Association, Benito Chub, shared more information about the new association. The association’s first big test will be a competition being held in Chetumal, Mexico in early December. The President of the association, Ronald Hyde, shared more information on the national team and the upcoming competition. The team is now seeking sponsorship to fund their trip across the border.
