Throughout history, music has played a vital role in the passing on of culture, worship and expression of emotions. A rounded education is seemingly incomplete without the arts, and music is paramount in this. There is no limit to creativity! Talent can be nurtured and skills improved. Apart from bringing a soothing effect and opening a sea of possibilities, music also brings an enjoyable reprieve from other academic rigours in the classroom. Music is known to be of intrigue to children and youth, many of whom desire to play an instrument or other, but at times are unable to afford private lessons. We are glad, then, to present this unique opportunity to challenge, excite and encourage children/youth whose prowess in that area may often go undiscovered and undeveloped due to limitations. Though music is often seen as “fun” by them, it has been proven to help eye-hand-ear coordination and to sharpen skills applicable to other academic skills, while being helpful in developing discipline and maturity as students persevere through the initial ‘fun’ stages until they reap the rewards of skillful playing and truly produce “Le régal de l'ouïe: A feast for the ear”! - i. Quote by Claude Debussy (1862-1918)

Our desired end-product is to present each music student within 6 to 12 months’ time, having the basics covered in their field of music study – both at the practical and theory level. After this first level, we then take interested students even further in acquiring the skills of a mature musician through a series of further levels. Those wishing to sit the international examinations (starting at Grade 1) for the Royal Society of Arts – theory &/or practical - also have that option.

excellently expressed how deeply it moves our souls!1
