"A three-ply cord is not easily broken."
-- Ecclesiastes 4:12
Trumpets sound and God's holy angels sing with joy and gladness as heaven gained another earthly angel today!
Dr. Cecilio Ignatius Eck & Mrs. Lysette Eck's journey as a married couple has been blessed and anointed by God's favor. Their marriage has been a testament of God's unfailing love and mercy by the way both have endured & carried their cross with unconditional love, grace and compassion for each other. With a three-ply cord anchored by the Holy Spirit, their marriage has been a true reflection of their vows undertaken before God's holy altar: "in sickness and in health, until death do us part."
Not only do we celebrate Dr. Eck's life and legacy, but we also celebrate his marriage and beautiful bride. We give thanks and praise his God-fearing wife who emulates the virtues of the inspirational model of a Proverbs 31 woman: a devoted helpmate, God's obedient servant filled with wisdom, grace & courage, a dedicated mother of their three children and an exceptional caregiver of her beloved husband right to his last breath on this side of heaven.
โจ๏ธHis last words to his bride:โจ๏ธ
"Everyone should have a wife like you!"
May Dr. Eck's spirit live on and may his wife, children and family be filled with grace-like peace and courage knowing they will reunite on the other side of heaven one day.

๐ Lord make us Teachable๐
Dear heavenly Father,
We come before You today, mindful that faithfulness is often formed in the quiet, unseen moments of life. Itโs built in the daily choicesโto remain committed, to honor our promises, and to walk in integrity even when no one else is watching.
Teach us to be faithful.
Not only in the big decisions, but in the small things that shape the direction of our marriage. Help us to be dependable with our words, steady in our actions, and sincere in our love. Guard our hearts from drifting, and keep our focus anchored in the covenant weโve made before You.
Lord, we ask that You would strengthen our commitment to one another.
When routines feel ordinary, remind us that faithfulness is never wasted.
When challenges come, give us the resolve to remain steadfast.
When distractions arise, turn our hearts back to what truly matters.
Shape in us a love that endures.
Not based on changing feelings, but grounded in truth and sustained by Your grace. Help us to reflect the kind of faithfulness You have shown to usโconstant, patient, and sure.
Draw us closer to Christ, that we may grow in obedience and in devotion. May our marriage be a testimony of Your sustaining power, marked by trust, perseverance, and a deep and lasting commitment.
In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
๐Todayโs Bible Verse
It is of the Lordโs mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
โ Lamentations 3:22โ23, KJV
๐Lord, Draw us Back to You๐
Dear heavenly Father,
We come before You today, aware of how easily our hearts become distracted. Life moves quickly, and without even realizing it, we can go through our days side by side, yet far from the quiet awareness of Your presence.
Draw us back to You.
Teach us to slow downโnot just in our pace, but in our thoughts. Help us to turn our attention toward You in the middle of ordinary moments. Remind us that You are near, that You see us, and that You are at work even when life feels routine.
Lord, we ask that You would shape a stillness within our hearts.
Not an absence of responsibility, but a steady awareness that You are with us. When stress rises, lead us to rest in You. When distractions pull at us, gently call us back.
Help us to seek You together.
โจ๏ธIn quiet moments.
โจ๏ธIn simple prayers.
โจ๏ธIn the rhythm of everyday life.
Draw us closer to Christ, where we find peace that holds firm even when life feels unsettled. Let that peace settle into our marriage, guiding our words, our responses, and our love for one another.
In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.๐
๐Todayโs Bible Verse:
"I have set the Lord always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. โ Psalm 16:8, KJV
๐ปStanding Firm with You Lord๐ป
~Marriage Prayer~
Dear heavenly Father,
We come before You today, aware that not every season is easy. There are days when we feel strong, and days when we feel worn. Moments when love feels effortless, and moments when it must be chosen with intention.
And still, You call us to stand.
Teach us to stand firmโnot in our own strength, but in Yours. When trials come, and when pressures rise around us, keep our hearts steady. Remind us that a marriage built on Christ is not easily shaken.
Hold us together, Lord.
When we feel pulled in different directions, draw us back to one another.
When weariness settles in, renew our strength.
When doubts whisper, anchor us in truth.
Help us to keep showing up with faith.
โจ๏ธTo choose patience when it would be easier to withdraw.
โจ๏ธTo choose kindness when tension lingers.
โจ๏ธTo choose love, even when it asks something of us.
Draw us closer to Christ, who strengthens us to endure and to remain. Let His faithfulness become the pattern we follow, day after day.
And as we stand, may we stand togetherโ
๐rooted in Your Word,
๐ฏheld by Your grace,
โค๏ธโ๐ฅand steady in Your love.
In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.๐

Last Friday's ME was riveting and rrevitalizing as couples were engaged with Pastors Ken and Tabatha's unveiling of their own personal experiences as a married couple-- a topic usually bypassed by most couples: "God's Design for s*x in Marriage." They highlighted the need for couples to talk with each other and aspire for intimacy not just at the physical level, but spiritual as well. Topics covered were:
๐Faith & Values
๐Communication & Emotional Safety
๐Mutual Satisfaction & Care
๐Boundaries & Conscience
๐Frequency & Desire
๐Growth & Connection
๐Spiritual Check-in
Thereafter, couples shared freely, in an intimate and safe environment, their own experiences, as well as learn key biblical principles to keep their matrimonial bed alive and shielded.
