A landmark moment for Belarusian aviation! On December 12, the first-ever cohort of cadets enrolled in the civil aviation pilot training program at the Belarusian State Academy of Aviation (BGAA) successfully completed their training.

Symbolically, this inaugural graduation ceremony was held at the Minsk-1 airport terminal, connecting the future of Belarusian aviation with its historic roots.

The Russian-Belarusian Youth Forum was held in Tula. A cadet from the Belarusian State Academy of Aviation, Ivan Vaytusenok, took part in the event.

Participants from Russia and Belarus discussed strategic directions of the Union State's youth policy and outlined ways for further cooperation.

In accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding between the Belarusian State Academy of Aviation and Anyang Vocational and Technical Institute, online lectures on the "History of the Formation and Development of the Aviation Industry in the Republic of Belarus" and the "History of the Formation and Development of the Aviation Industry in the People's Republic of China" were held on November 20 for cadets and academic staff.

The lectures were delivered by faculty members from the Department of Social Sciences and Humanities of both the Belarusian State Academy of Aviation and the Anyang Vocational and Technical Institute.

Igor Georgievich Yatskevich, rector of the Belarusian State Academy of Aviation, participated in the 3rd meeting of the China-Belarus Association of Universities, a large-scale international forum that became a landmark event in the development of educational and scientific cooperation between the two countries.
A significant event of the meeting was the signing of a joint Declaration on Cooperation in Higher Education between universities of the Republic of Belarus and the People's Republic of China.

The Belarusian State Academy of Aviation hosted an international conference of the Coordinating and Advisory Aeromedical Council of the Interstate Aviation Committee.
The conference topic is: «Problems of medical and sanitary-epidemiological support for aviation in the states parties to the Agreement on Civil Aviation and the Use of Airspace and ways to solve them».

🤩 The Belarusian State Academy of Aviation is the only educational institution in the Republic of Belarus offering a full cycle of training for a full range of aviation specialists at all levels.

The BSAA currently comprises a department of secondary vocational education, a faculty of civil aviation, a military faculty for general and advanced higher education, a postgraduate program, and an institute for advanced training and retraining.

The educational process is based on practice-oriented training for cadets at the facilities of aviation organizations that contract personnel, such as Minsk Civil Aviation Plant No. 407, Minsk National Airport, Belaeronavigatsia, and other aviation industry enterprises. Effective forms of interaction with the real sector of the economy include the establishment of department branches and the organization of internships.

🫶 Cadets are provided with the opportunity to participate in youth associations of various types, and sports and creative events are held on an ongoing basis. Out-of-town cadets are provided with free dormitory accommodation on the BSAA grounds, a cafeteria, and medical care. The facilities of| BSAA are constantly being expanded, and modern simulators and practical training simulators are being introduced. The classrooms and training practical classes are well equipped. BSAA cadets are active participants and winners of international and national competitions, forums, and exhibitions.

The Belarusian State Academy of Aviation hosted a delegation from the Anyang Vocational and Technical Institute. The visit was aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation in education and science.

A key element of the business portion of the program was discussions on prospects for cooperation between the BSAA and AYIT. The meeting included a significant event: the official opening of the Belarusian-Chinese Center for Civil Aviation Engineering Technologies under the «Chinese Language + Professional Skills (in the Aviation Industry)» program.
