UNESCO club "GULFSTREAM" We are young, active and open to new ideas!!! In 2002 Gymnasium 12 was honoured to become UNESCO associated school. Education. Ecology (sustainable development).

On the 15th of May 2008 Belarusian Association of UNESCO clubs in Belarus
supported the initiative of teachers and students to establish UNESCO club ‘Gulfstream’. The main stream of our work is International Cooperation in the spheres of:

1. We cooperate with the schools of Europe, Russia, Ukraine etc. We try to exchange the experience in this sphere and participate in different educational contests and festivals.

2. With the help of different actions, games, contests we try to make our pupils understand the importance of taking care about nature. We make certain attempts to find appropriate ways how to teach children of different age ecology problems.

3. Participation in international MUN conferences as an excellent opportunity for pupils to study leadership, to get acquainted with main principals of humanity, tolerance, democracy. To get acquainted with cultural heritage of the world.

4. Healthy way of life – the attempt to teach pupils how to lead a healthy way of life. AIDS, drugs, drinking, smoking – main threatens of modern society.
