Today, on October 14, within the framework of the 3rd Scientific and Educational Forum “Innovator-2021” Venelin Terziev, D.Sc. (National Security), D.Sc. (Economics), D.Sc. (Social Activities), Professor, Professor of Georgi Rakovski Military Academy (Bulgaria) and Chief Scientific Secretary at Kaneff University Hospital (Rousse, Bulgaria) visited the library of Baranavichy State University (www.barsu.by, Republic of Belarus).
A tour around the university infrastructure was organized under the guidance of Alexander Unsovich, the Rector of the university, PhD in Pedagogic Sciences, Associate Professor,
Vladimir Klimuk, the First Vice-Rector, PhD in Economic Sciences, Associate Professor presented an analysis of publication activities of the university scientists, the results of the implementation of national and international projects.
Tatyana Gromova, the director of the university library introduced the Bulgarian guests to the information resources of the library, which are presented both in traditional and electronic forms. Traditionally, on September 1 the library opens its doors to new readers – first-year students. This event, symbolically, coincides with the professional holiday of librarians.
Professor Venelin Terziev shared his experience not just as a reader, but also as a scientist, whose research is closely related to libraries, the use and development of their resources. During the meeting and further interview Professor acquainted the university staff with the leading trends in the development of this public sphere and how they are applied in Bulgarian public libraries.
Professor Venelin Terziev has more than 1.000 scientific publications, 9 educational and methodological publications. His publicistic materials, dealing with relevant contemporary issues in the field of culture, science and education, have been published in a number of Bulgarian and foreign periodicals and information sites.

Baranovichi State University University

Our university celebrated its 15th birthday: the first state university in the modern history of the country, successfully developing under the guidance of the rector - doctor of science, professor Vasily I. Kochurko.
The celebration, devoted to the 15th anniversary of the university began with the expanded meeting of the Council of the University.
The main agenda of the holiday day was the honoring of the best employees and teachers who were awarded certificates of merit, diplomas and gratitudes for conscientious work and great personal contribution to the development of the university.
The celebratory event “Today I sing a hymn to you, my bright temple of science!” continued in concert hall of the university. The guests of the event were met by the brass band and violin ensemble of Baranovichi Music College, and an interactive exhibition of BarSU achievements in different spheres was organized in the atrium of the main building.
Numerous congratulations from officials and honored guests of the university sounded already in the walls of the concert hall. On the behalf of the Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus Igor Karpenko, head of the main department of professional education Sergei. Kasperovich congratulated the university on its 15th birthday. Congratulatory speeches were made by the deputy chairman of the Brest Regional Executive Committee Gennadiy Borisyuk, the deputy chairman of the Baranovichi City Executive Committee Vadim Scherbakov, the deputy of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Tatyana Yakubovich, religious leaders and other guests of the celebratory event. Along with congratulations, the ceremony of awarding employees and teachers of the university with diplomas and gratitudes of ministerial, regional and city significance was held.
Let the 15th anniversary of Baranovichi State University be a new start for future victories and achievements!

Novruz Bayram is a holiday of spring, a day calling for friendship and kindness.

The second year Novruz Bayram has become an all-university holiday which unites foreign and Belarusian students.

Talented and creative students of BarSU pleased the guests of the holiday with national and contemporary dances, Belarusian and Turkmen songs, playing dutar and piano.

One of the main attributes of Novruz Bayram is cooking festive treats. Students from Turkmenistan, who live in the university dorms, keep the tradition, and on holiday they arranged an exhibition-presentation “We invite to Novruz: who come - we treat!”.

The visitors had an opportunity to visit the exhibition and taste culinary masterpieces: chuck-chuck, samsa, dograma, pishme and other national dishes.

It was really festive, tasty and beautiful!

Besides the concert program the University students could take part in karaoke, hairstyle and sport contests.

The concert hall was full of positive emotions and sincere smiles.

All participants of the festive program were awarded with the Rector’s gratitude letters for active participation.
