Dithuto English Medium School proudly joined the Batlokwa community in commemorating 145 years of Batlokwa culture and heritage at the vibrant Mafifatshwana Cultural Festival held at Tlokweng Recreational Park.
Celebrated under the theme, “Building Economic Resilience and Self-Sustenance Through Culture Preservation,” the festival highlighted the importance of safeguarding our traditions while empowering future generations through culture, unity, and identity. It brought together Vice President and Minister of Finance, His Honour Ndaba N. Gaolathe, Members of Ntlo ya Dikgosi, district leaders, government officials and representatives from the private sector.
Our team had the opportunity to experience and appreciate the rich customs, values, and history of the Batlokwa people, reinforcing the significance of cultural pride and heritage education.
