What a day to remember! ✨

Today, our school came alive as we hosted a vibrant and engaging Career Fair, opening doors of possibility for our learners. From curious questions to inspiring conversations, it was truly a day filled with purpose and direction.

Our students had the opportunity to interact directly with representatives from various tertiary institutions, gaining first-hand information about courses, career paths, and the journey beyond secondary school. Moments like these remind us how important guidance and exposure are in shaping future leaders.

We extend our sincere appreciation to all the institutions that partnered with us today. Thank you for investing your time, knowledge, and passion into our learners’ futures, your contribution does not go unnoticed.

It has come to our attention that there is a page falsely presenting itself as affiliated with Shakawe Senior Secondary School and spreading misleading and unverified information about our students and school community.

Recent posts alleging that students stole a chicken and that another student was hospitalized after a hostel fight are FALSE and unfounded. We strongly condemn the spreading of misinformation, especially when it targets and harms the dignity, safety, and emotional wellbeing of our students.

We wish to inform the public that the page in question is NOT the official school page and is in no way authorized to communicate on behalf of the school.

Please note that this page is the ONLY official social media page of Shakawe Senior Secondary School. Any information not communicated through this official platform should be treated with caution.

We kindly ask parents, students, alumni, and members of the public not to engage with or share content from the fake page, as doing so only helps spread misinformation further.

We also appeal to everyone to assist by reporting the fake page for impersonation and false information so that appropriate action can be taken.
