Students from Career Dreams Centre in Maun gained hands-on hospitality experience yesterday while serving guests at the Wilderness stakeholder event in Maun.

The event brought together industry leaders, community members, and partners to celebrate local growth and conservation. During the gathering, Wilderness General Manager Mr. Matome met with the students, taking time to pause for photos and encourage them.

Their active role highlights the importance of practical training in tourism. By connecting classroom learning with real-world industry events, the initiative helps prepare young local talent for future careers in hospitality and supports long-term youth empowerment in the North West region.
