♟️ Final Results – World School Teams Chess Qualifiers 2026 ♟️
For the first time ever, St Joseph’s Primary School stepped into the national team chess arena. Over seven intense rounds, our young players carried the school spirit with courage, learning the true meaning of teamwork, resilience, and focus under pressure.
They finished in number 7, standing proudly among seasoned schools. More than the scores, this journey was about growth, discovering how to support one another, handle the weight of competition, and rise to challenges together.
We celebrate their effort, discipline, and determination. This is only the beginning — the lessons learnt here will shape stronger moves in the future, both on and off the board.
Congratulations to our team, and thank you to everyone who cheered them on!

Together for a Cleaner Tomorrow!
Today, the uncles and aunties (our dedicated parents and guardians) of St. Joseph’s Primary School proudly joined the National Cleaning Campaign around the school.
A clean environment is more than just tidy surroundings:
• For our children: it means safer play areas, healthier classrooms, and a brighter space to learn and grow.
• For our families: it protects our health, strengthens community pride, and teaches the next generation the value of care and responsibility.
• For our nation: every small act of cleaning contributes to a greener, more sustainable Botswana.
By working hand in hand, we show that keeping our environment clean is not just a duty, it’s a gift we give to ourselves, our children, and the future.
Let’s continue to nurture this spirit of unity and responsibility, because a clean school is the foundation of a thriving community.

St. Joseph's PTA Meeting Update
Together for Excellence: Shaping Our Future!
Yesterday, our Parents Teachers Association (PTA) held a remarkably fruitful and highly productive meeting. We came together as a united community to map out the future of our school, focusing deeply on exactly what our institution needs and how we can best deliver it.
Every discussion centered around building a stronger, more supportive environment for the true heartbeat of our school: our students, our teachers, and our parents.
From academic resources and infrastructure needs to holistic student support, everything was laid out on the table with a clear, actionable vision moving forward.
Thank you to every parent and educator who took the time to attend, share insights, and contribute to these vital conversations. Your voices are shaping the leaders of tomorrow!
Stay tuned as we begin rolling out these exciting plans.

We join the nation in mourning the passing of His Excellency Former President Festus Gontebanye Mogae.
President Mogae’s life was a lesson in humility, service, and courage. His leadership showed us that true greatness is found in giving back and uplifting others. These are the same values we nurture in our classrooms, teaching our children to grow not only in knowledge, but also in kindness and responsibility.
As a school family, we celebrate his legacy and pray that his example continues to inspire our learners to dream boldly, serve faithfully, and walk with compassion.
May his soul rest in peace. His light will guide generations to come.
