UBVapa Welcome to the Department of Visual and Performing Arts at the University of Botswana, growing Theat

Welcome to the Department of Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA). VAPA is one of the youngest departments in the University, entering its 4th year of student intakes in the 2013/2014 Academic Year. The department focuses on three programmes of study:
• Theatre Studies
• Music
• Visual Art
Being in its early stages, the department currently offers courses in the Theatre Studies Programme while Music

and Visual Art syllabuses are pending approval. It is expected that the other programmes will be introduced in the next few years.
