“To be one of Africa’s leading institutions, where students are educated to excel..." Rarely are schools so aptly named.

The name Maru-a-Pula means "clouds for rain" or "promises of blessings" in Setswana.

Our Term 2 Blood Donation Drive reached its target of 50 donors on 28 May.

Organised by our Medical Corps Service in partnership with the National Blood Transfusion Service, the day reflected the power of community and service.

A heartfelt thank you to all staff, students, parents and Thornhill teachers who donated. Your contribution will make a real difference in saving lives.

We look forward to seeing even more donors at the next drive in late September.

Term 1 wrapped up on a high note at Maru-a-Pula School

The energy across campus was incredible as we celebrated our final day with International Day, proudly embracing the 32 nationalities that make up our MaP community.

A big thank you to our staff and students for bringing this day to life, and to the embassies and everyone involved in making the event such a success.

We also had the pleasure of hosting Jason Vanporppal, who is currently skateboarding across Africa, a truly inspiring visit!

Wishing all our students and staff a restful and well-deserved holiday.
