We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Academics to lead our academic program at IGCSE level.

📋 EMPLOYMENT TYPE:
• Full-Time (Administrative & Academic Leadership role)
• Part-Time (Academic focus, no administrative responsibilities)

📅 Start Date: Immediate

🎯 THE ROLE:
✅ Ensuring full and timely syllabus coverage across all subjects
✅ Overseeing internal assessments, mock exams & exam preparation
✅ Monitoring and driving student academic performance
✅ Supporting and holding Heads of Department accountable
✅ Maintaining Cambridge IGCSE standards across all departments

🎓 Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree (minimum) in Education or related field - a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification will be an added advantage
• Minimum 5 years teaching experience, preferably at IGCSE level
• Prior leadership or departmental management experience
• Strong knowledge of the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

💼 Remuneration:

The Newton Pre-school Career Day was a buzzing celebration where little dreamers dressed in colourful outfits representing various professions. We had a lineup of firefighters, police officers, soldiers, scientists, doctors, and many more... The kids enjoyed flashing playful gestures that showed their excitement about future jobs. 🎒👮‍♂️🔬🚒👨‍⚕️🪖

Our standard 5 and 6 epic adventure to Off -Road Extreme Botswana , just leveled up! Quad bikes roared to life 🏍️, then there was a splashy swimming🏊‍♀️ showdown , and finally horse riding 🏇 became the new cool. It was not limited to thrills – this trip was about unlocking teamwork during games, collaboration and adaptability, harnessing 21st century skills 💡. Outdoor activities and games were a blast, and after a long term of books 📚, this was the ultimate refresh. Who knew learning could feel this epic!

Overnight Adventure at Mokolodi Nature Reserve!

They were ready to swap textbooks 📚 for tracking gear 🎒, and the classroom 🏫 for the great outdoors 🌍—and what an unforgettable experience it was! 🌟

🔥👨‍🎓 Ultimate Overnight Bush Camp 🏕️⛺️
Students experienced the magic ✨ of the African bush under the stars 🌌. This trip brought learning to life, giving students hands-on skills they simply can’t get inside a classroom.

🦏🦒 Rhino & Giraffe Tracking
We stepped off the vehicle 🚙 and onto the trail 🥾, uncovering the secrets of the bush 🌿 while tracking these incredible giants with expert rangers 🧭.

🍔🔥 Night Skies & Campfires 🌌
Students gathered around a traditional Kgotla braai 🍖 for dinner, followed by an energetic dance session 💃🕺 filled with amazing moves and great vibes 🎶.
