Week 3 - heading towards the finishing line...
Featuring Ms. Martinelly Saleh
Watch Martinelly as she showcases her three projects and heads into her final project with pattern work before sewing her dress.
With her perfect attendance and dedication towards the course, we are so proud of Martinelly as she begins her final project.
At times, the training can feel demanding — repeating the same stitching operations again and again until they are just right. It’s not always easy, and frustration can creep in. But this week Martinelly began to see the purpose behind the repetition.
Every line of stitching, every adjustment, every correction is helping her build precision, discipline, and confidence at the sewing machine. Skills are not built overnight — they are stitched together, slowly and patiently.
And Martinelly is beginning to see her progress. Repetition today, mastery tomorrow. The journey continues as she embarks onto her final project.

Week 3 - and the growth is visible.
Featuring Ms. Pretty Thogo
We are truly inspired by Pretty's passion and dedication for learning the skill of sewing. She is growing more confident behind the sewing machine, her hands are steadier, her stitching more controlled, and her understanding of the process continues to improve.

What once felt unfamiliar is slowly becoming second nature.
Each week brings new lessons, small corrections, and steady progress. Through patience and practice, Pretty is building both skill and confidence with every seam she completes.

At TCIB, we believe that true skill is built step by step — through guidance, practice, and perseverance.
“Go itshoka go tsala katlego.”
Pretty took that step in Week 1, and by Week 3 her journey is clearly moving forward as seen in her excellent projects.

Stay tuned for the rest of her journey...

TCIB Student Journeys
Week 3 feels... different.
Featuring Ms. Alta Dimpho Seleka

In the beginning, every step required careful thought.
Every stitch needed guidance.
Every small mistake felt big.
Now, step by step, something has shifted.
Her hands are steadier.
Her focus is calmer.
Her movements are more certain.
She still listens carefully.
She still corrects herself.
But she no longer doubts that she can improve.

Growth doesn’t always happen loudly.
Sometimes it happens quietly — in small adjustments, in deeper understanding, in silent determination.
Mma. Alta is beginning to trust the process and letting her talent shine through!

“Go ikanyega le go itshoka go tlisa katlego.”

Week 3 is not about perfection.
It’s about progress you can feel.
