The Department of English is one of the largest and most vibrant at the University of Botswana.
The focus areas of the Department are English language and Linguistics, Theatre, English and African Literature and Literature of the African Diaspora. The Department welcomes both undergraduate and graduate students to its intensive BA and graduate programmes.
