Dear Guilt,
I write this letter to let you know I am not going on this trip with you. I remember the many times I've travelled with you, you had me carry all the baggage. All you did the whole trip was remind me of all the things I would rather leave behind. Never once did we stop to rest. My heart, my head and my body ached.
I remember how you left me in the middle of nowhere with your best friends Misery, Depression and Loneliness, I nearly died. They offered me alcohol, pills and a rope. They lead me to a ledge and as I swallowed the pills which your friend Depression had given me, I heard a gentle whisper.
The sweet whisper, was from a man called JESUS. He removed the baggage you had tied on me, carried me away from the ledge and washed out the pills from my system. He held me as my tears flowed and introduced me to His friend Comfort. Comfort was so good to me. He then asked His other best friends, Love, Grace, Goodness and Mercy to watch over me and follow me all the days of my life.
So you see Guilt, you and I can't hang no more. I don't need your company. I have no room to entertain you.
JESUS told me that there is no more condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Since I am in CHRIST I have no room for you.
Goodbye Guilt....Farewell
P.S kindly let your friends know that I've changed my number so they shouldn't bother calling me either.
