Limkokwing University Botswana was honored to welcome Hon. Jacob Kelebeng, Minister of Sport and Arts, for an engagement session with 40 students who have received tuition sponsorship opportunities through the Ministry and the University.

This initiative forms part of the University's commitment to expanding access to quality higher education through a partnership with the Ministry of Sport and Arts, which includes scholarships valued at P1.6 million. Through this investment, talented young people from Botswana's creative, sports, and local communities are being empowered to pursue their academic and professional aspirations.

The visit provided a valuable opportunity to engage directly with the students, hear their experiences, and better understand their aspirations. While the sponsorship covers tuition fees, the discussions focused on exploring additional avenues of support that can enhance the overall student experience and contribute to their academic success.

Our Bachelor of Arts in Visual Communication students recently took part in presentation sessions at Debswana, where they showcased the skills, knowledge, creativity, and professional growth they gained during their three-month industrial attachment.

Through insightful presentations, the students shared their experiences, key lessons learned, and the valuable contributions they made while working in a dynamic professional environment. Their confidence, innovation, and ability to apply classroom knowledge in real-world settings highlighted the strength of experiential learning.

As part of a diverse group of students from various institutions, our students proudly represented Limkokwing University, demonstrating excellence, adaptability, and a passion for visual communication.
