First position for CRACKiT Kgale Secondary Centre debate team at Botho University Linkz Competitions.

THUTO MPENE TO CAPE VERDE

Thuto Mpene will fly to Cape Verde Islands via Dubai and Morocco. The 17 year old booked himself a spot at African Junior Chess Championship by winning the Botswana Junior Championships that were held at the University of Botswana on the 13th July 2025.

Thuto will compete at the African Junior Chess Championships on the 17th to 25th September 2025 in Praia, Cape Verde.

Thuto is a form 3 student at CRACKiT Kgale. Let’s wish him success as he will be lifting the Botswana flag high.

CRACKiT CHESS ACADEMY

Join CRACKiT Chess Academy and you could be one of the medalists in the next chess tournament. Students who are not schooling at CRACKiT are welcome to join at just P500 per month. We welcome beginners and those who want to train to be competitive and go far in chess.
