Down memory lane… 🐝💛

Sometimes it’s hard to believe that 10 years ago, The Bees Hive Academy started with just 7 children, a dream bigger than our circumstances, and 3 employees who believed enough to help lay the foundation of what the hive would become.

Back then, we did not have all the answers. We only had love, hope, faith, and the determination to create a space where children could feel safe, included, and valued. There were days filled with uncertainty, moments where things felt impossible, and seasons where we questioned how we would keep going — but somehow, we always did.

Those first children grew with us. Those first staff members carried the vision with their hands, hearts, patience, and sacrifice. They helped build not just a school, but a home filled with warmth, acceptance, laughter, and second chances.

Today, as we look around and see a team of 14 incredible people holding the dream together every single day, it becomes emotional to realize how far we have come. Every teacher, every caregiver, every support staff member, every parent, and every child has become part of a story that is so much bigger than us.

From a small beginning to a movement rooted in inclusion, love, and purpose.

To everyone who walked this journey with us — thank you for carrying the hive through every season. Thank you for believing in the vision even before the world could fully see it.
