🖥Last Thursday the Std 7 group completed a 24 hour ICTechnathon in lieu of raising funds for the Computer Lab. 💻
The technathon started at 7:30 on Thursday and ended at 7:30 on Friday. In this time they completed two projects.
🖱The first project was to code a multilevel game in Tynker which incorporated collecting objects and a set number of lives.
For the second project they had to research the future of teaching and learning in primary schools and apply it to a Clifton of the future. They used this information to build a 4 page website in Wix for a Clifton in the year 2050.⌨️
In between coding sessions they had some downtime in the hall to play games, chill and sleep.

✨️A big thank you to the brave Std 7’s for tacking the tasks with unrelenting enthusiasm and to the Clifton teaching staff for helping with the supervision of the activities throughout the night.✨️

✨️We had a Tantebane-tastic week last week!✨️

Our Reception, Std 1 and Std 3 classes went on lovely day trips to tantebane and took part in an adventure filled and educational experience. 🚌

Our Std 4s even got to spend the night!🏕 The memories made on class trips last a lifetime!

Thank you Tantebane Golf Resort for a wonderful time! 👌

🏑Yesterday we had our Reception and Std 1 Fun Sport Day!🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️
🥚🥄They did cross country, egg and spoon races, sack races and relays among others. 🛍
Well done to all our pupils for participating. Thank you to the teachers and STD 7s for all your help and hardwork.
✨️Thank you to the parents who came out to support their little ones✨️ the most important thing is to have fun and the pupils sure had a lot of fun! 👌

🎸🎵On Saturday was our Annual Music Festival 🎶 it was an amazing musical performance and family fun time for all! 🙂 if you didnt make it dont miss out next year! 💃
Thank you to all the Artisits who performed and to our organisers for taking on this event.
Thank you to our PTAs who had stalls 🛍 and to all those who came out to support this event! 👏

🗣Our Oratory Evening took place on Tuesday, 28th of July. This is an annual event where selected children from Standards 5, 6, and 7 showcase their oratory skills. Standard 5 children select a poem 📜 that they recite, and our Standard 6 and 7 children present a prepared speech and also have to do an unprepared speech of a minute ⏳️in duration. We congratulate all the children who took part 👏

💼🤓Our budding entrepreneurs had a wonderful time at Entrepreneurial Day on Friday. The event gave learners the opportunity to showcase their creativity, innovation and problem-solving skills while developing confidence, communication and financial literacy 💵🛍
