Our first-years continue their journey through the Life and Ministry of Jesus module, learning not just about His works, but His heart for ministry. May this foundation shape the ministers they become🙏.

At our assembly last night, we were privileged to host Pastor Tswai from Winners Chapel in Francistown.

Pastor Tswai shared a practical and encouraging message on the realities of the call to service, emphasizing the importance of knowing who called you, understanding the specific message you are tasked to preach, and the necessity of choosing to follow God’s path over personal or financial ambitions. He spoke candidly about the challenges leaders face, such as isolation and the weight of perceived perfection, reminding us that our commitment to carrying the cross and rescuing humanity truly makes a difference.

We reflected on the power of being spiritually attentive, noting how God often speaks in specific terms during ordinary moments. A lifetime of service is important and meaningful, but we should not neglect the impact of the daily choice to follow in Jesus' footsteps rather than running toward our own "Tarshish". Any Holy Spirit-inspired, Word-based life makes God’s power available to lead others from darkness into the light.

At RHEMA Prayer School last night, we celebrated our students as they received certificates of completion for the Changes That Heal program.

Rev. Kristin Buckley shared a practical and encouraging message on the purpose and power of prayer — especially the importance of praying for our leaders: church leaders, national leaders, workplace leaders, and the next generation of leaders God is raising up. Our prayers truly make a difference.

We closed the evening by taking time to pray together and practice “listening prayer,” listening to the Holy Spirit as we prayed. Blocks of time to pray are important and meaningful, but we should not neglect the impact of a 2 minute prayer in the middle of a busy day. Any Holy Spirit inspired, Word-based prayer makes God’s power available.

On Friday, RHEMA opened its doors for students and guests alike during our “Experience RHEMA” Open Class, Life of Worship.

In this module, Rev. Kristin Buckley teaches practical and biblical principles that help believers cultivate a greater awareness of the presence of God in their everyday lives — this awareness changes everything!

This class specifically focused on practical aspects of corporate worship that honour Jesus, strengthen a worship team’s unity, and help elevate worship within the local church.

At RHEMA, we believe worship is more than music — it is a lifestyle of fellowship, honour, and responding to God’s presence.
